Meet Our Staff
Josué Gutiérrez, MD
I graduated from the University of the Ozarks in 2009 and later graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in 2013. My family and I moved to Nebraska to complete my Family Medicine residency. Though we had never been to Nebraska, after our first visit for my residency interview we really liked the area and decided this is where we wanted to live. During my time in residency, my wife and I loved living in Nebraska and decided to stay. After completing my residency in 2016, I started working at Saline Medical Specialties in Crete. Our baby was born just last year (Jan 2018) and every day is a new adventure with her. I love serving Crete and the people of its community, and will continue to work hard to provide the great care mypatients are accustomed to.
Krystal Jackson, PA-C
Proud to be a native Nebraskan. Born and raised in southeastern Nebraska. Attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln before completing my physician assistant studies at UNMC. After graduation, I spent 7 years in southwest Kansas practicing in a rural setting from which I gained immeasurable experience and lifelong friends. The draw of “home” was too great and in 2012 my family and I returned to Nebraska. Since that time, I have had the privilege of practicing at Saline Medical Specialties in Crete. I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children, and our dog Sunny. Practicing medicine allows me to serve others as God calls us to do and to honor the trust placed in that relationship.
Christina Dux, NP
I was born and raised a Nebraska farm girl and I continue to live the farm life west of Fairbury with my husband. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and quilting. I have been an RN for 15 years and spent much of my career working in Emergency Medicine. I furthered my education to become a Nurse Practitioner because I cared so much for each and every patient I encountered and knew I could do more to help them navigate their own healthcare journey. My journey to becoming an advanced practitioner has had many ups and downs as well as twists and turns. I will use that experience and my many years of experience caring for others to treat each of you as the individual that you are. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your medical care.
